A second coronavirus death in America was reported in Kirkland, a suburb of Seattle, Washington. The death sparked fears that the virus had been spreading in Seattle suburbs undetected for weeks. Six confirmed cases have been made at the Kirkland, Washington nursing facility. Three are currently in critical condition.
The global death toll for coronavirus has surpassed 3,000. South Korea confirmed 599 new cases for a total of 4,335 confirmed infections and 22 deaths. Italy has more than 1,600 confirmed cases, Iran has over 1,500 with 66 deaths. A Manhattan woman, in her 30s, is the first confirmed case in New York State.
