The number of global coronavirus cases has reached 90,000. Six people have died near Seattle, Washington from coronavirus. Four of them were residents of a nursing home in Kirkland, a suburb of Seattle. The total number of U.S. cases have reached 100 with infected patients in 14 states.
Finance ministers from the G7 are set to discuss today ways to economically cushion countries impacted by coronavirus. The federal reserve is expected to make an interest rate cut soon to boost U.S. markets. World central banks are considering a coordinated response to coronavirus.
Democrats head to the polls today in 14 states. Joe Biden earned endorsements from former candidates Amy Klobuchar, who dropped out yesterday, Pete Buttigieg and Beto O’Rourke.
Yesterday, U.S. and global markets snapped back from last week’s correction. The Dow gained nearly 1,300 points or 5.1% for the largest one-day percentage climb in history.

“Biden really got off of life support last night,” said Michael Bitzer, a political scientist at Catawba College in North Carolina, speaking the day after Mr. Biden’s landslide victory in South Carolina. “If he can at least be competitive on Tuesday in North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama and Arkansas, and be competing in Texas, he may have a good night.”
