On Monday, the U.S. stock market faced a sharp sell-off over coronavirus fears. The Dow was down over 1000 points in midday trading, a 3%+ decline. It was the worst day by percentage since Feb. 8, 2018 when the Dow lost 4.15%.
Markets globally were mixed overnight. The U.S. market is expected to bounce back early but it may be difficult to maintain those gains.
